Junk Food Dinner Podcast: Episode #33
This week we pay tribute to the lovable and murderous Scumdogs of the Universe!
First, we watch GWAR's 1992 debut film, the Grammy-nominated "Phallus in Wonderland" and see how Oderus Urungusreacts to the theft of his Cuttlefish of Cthulu by the Morality Squad. We also witness the origins of Oderus' pet tyrant lizard, Gor-Gor!
Next, we take a look at the follow-up, "Skulhedface" from 1994 and learn all about the plot of an insane genius to steal the
Jizmoglobin* of Oderus, Balzac, Slymenstra and the rest of the crew. Will Dr. Skulhedface succeed and turn GWAR into a doped up easy listening band with no balls? Will this scheme ruin GWAR's attempt at summoning The World Maggot on their telethon? And what part does the Lawn Jockey play?
Finally, Parker sits down for an interview with Oderus Urungus himself, Dave Brockie, about the band's origins, their films and the new album "Bloody Pit of Horror" in stores Today!!
