Junk Food Dinner Podcast: Episode #34

Hello, weirdos. Welcome to Junk Food Dinner Episode #34.

This week we take over an advertising agency and stick it to the man, when we take a look at the black & white absurdist, satirical comedy Putney Swope from 1969, directed by Robert Downey Sr.

Then we see what happens when gymnastics and karate mix as we check out the outrageous action flick Gymkata from 1985, staring Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Kurt Thomas.

And finally, we get a glimpse at a surreal day-in-the-life of a group of jaded young people when we explore the star-studded Nowhere from 1997, directed by Gregg Araki and staring James Duval, Rachel True, Nathan Bexton, Kathleen Robertson, Christina Applegate, etc, etc.

Also, we have Nerds News, this week's DVD and Blu-Ray releases and much more!

  1. Our discussion on "Putney Swope" was regrettably too short. We didn't even mention the Mel Brooks cameo! We suck!
