JFD238: Horns, Call Girl of Cthulu, WolfCop

Hey, Junkies! This week, we continue checking out the delights of 2014 cinema with three more new movies.

First up, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is a young man who's dealing with the fact that everyone in town thinks he killed his girlfriend in "Horns." Things get way worse, or maybe better, when he begins to get Satan-like in appearance. The flick is directed by Alexandre Aja (High Tension, Piranha 3D) and based on a book by Joe Hill (Stephen King's son).

Next, the team that brought us The WNUF Halloween Special return with their Kickstarter-funded "Call Girl of Cthulu." A young nerd and his prostitute love interest run afoul of a cult that worships ancient alien gods and need the Necronomicon to summon them. Or something. Get ready for Deep Ones and things that are Unamable.

Finally, a drunk cop is turned into a werewolf as a part of a nefarious plan. "Wolf Cop" is directed by Lowell Dean and is a throw-back to a time when cops were sometimes monsters. Literally, we mean. Not the kind of monsters they are now.

All this plus witty banter between friends, Parker's return, low milk, Junk Mail, GWAR stories, Nerd News, DVD & Blu-ray releases, a bad Austin Powers voice, The Brain redux and so much more.
