JFD184: Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky

Schlocktober keeps on rocking through October as we dig into the last three movies in the Child's Play series!

First up, we check out Ronny Yu's foray into Hollywood filmmaking, the visually impressive road movie horror comedy BRIDE OF CHUCKY from 1998! Brad Dourif returns as the voice of Chucky, joined by Jennifer Tilly and a young/foxy/pre-lady-doctors Katherine Heigl.

Violins are bad, but Glen (or Glenda?) is good, in 2004's bizarre Hollywood spoof comedy SEED OF CHUCKY. Featuring the acting talents of Redman and a small role for John Waters, this is not only the weirdest Chucky movie, it's one of the weirdest franchise horror movies ever. But is weird good?

Finally, we spoil the shit out of CURSE OF CHUCKY from 2013! Don't say we didn't warn you, you weird person who cares about spoilers for Curse of Chucky. This is the latest (but apparently not last) entry into the Child's Play series, and features a return to the horror roots of the series.
