JFD704: Maniac, Alone in the Dark, Idle Hands

It's Schlocktober, creeps! Everyone's favorite time of year. To get into the spooky spirit, we're taking a look at three killer flicks!

Up first, Joe Spinell plays a vicious serial killer to creepy perfection on the streets of grimey early 80's New York City in William Lustig's Maniac from 1980.

Next Jack Palance and Martin Landau play a couple of dangerous lunatics who escape a mental facility run by Donald Pleasence during a power outage in order to stalk one of their psychiatrists and his family in Alone in the Dark from 1982.

And finally, Devon Sawa plays a high school stoner whose hand becomes posessed by a demon and is committing murders against his will. But with the help of his undead buddies (Seth Green and Elden Henson), his love interest (Jessica Alba) and a demon hunter (Vivica A. Fox) he may just save the day in Idle Hands from 1999.

All this plus You Can See Everything chat, The Devils back in theaters, Halloween viewing, French grandpa horror, the future of Daddy Boyle's zombie franchise and so much more.
