Kevin McCarthy dies at age 96.

Kevin McCarthy died Saturday at the age of 96. McCarthy was most well-known to world for his award-winning performance in 1951's "Death of a Salesman" or his iconic role in 1956's "Invasion of the Body Snatchers."

Though, I'm sure those of us in the Junk Food Dinner crowd will remember his later work more fondly. McCarthy would go on to act in some of the most Junk Food-ified movies of the late '70s through early '90s. McCarthy would make a cameo in 1978's Body Snatchers remake and would take on memorable characters in the original "Piranha," "The Howling," and "The Twilight Zone: The Movie." He'd also have roles in the more awful, but equally fun movies like "Ghoulies III" and "Fast Food."

Mostly, though, McCarthy will be remembered a big jerk for his portrayal of the hilariously mean television station owner R.J. Fletcher in 1989's cult comedy classic "UHF."
