JFD March Schedule and Update on the future of the show!
Hello, Junkies!! As we ready ourselves for the new chapter in JFD History, we also watch some of the craziest best movies on Earth. Here is the March Calendar.
Oh, also, you may be wondering about the future of the show now that Kevin has announced his semi-retirement.
Once a month, the three of us will do a normal ass JFD show like you know and love. Three movies. Three hosts. Voicemails, Nerd News, all that stuff. Three guys enjoying the perks and pleasures of ghouldom, friendship and cult movies.
The other weeks of the month, Sean and Parker will do a two-man spin-off show called (tentatively) Junk Food Supper. Two guys reviewing one movie or TV show or comic book or something each week. Two men sharing the joy of movies and friendship, finally able to talk about Neil Breen freely and openly, making BASEketball references without fear of persecution.
As for the Patreon: We'll keep it up. We'll no longer be doing Dom Deluise movies, so we'll axe that $10 dollar tier, but we're going to keep the bonus episodes around. They may no longer be large, 2 hour blocks delivered in the first couple days of the month. They may just be segments scattered in throughout the month, but they'll be delightful nonetheless. At any rate, think of the $1 and $5-dollar tiers as a tip for all our hard and courteous work. I mean, you tip waitresses and they never even had to endure Niku Daruma for your entertainment.
There will be normal-sized bonus patreon episodes at the begninng of March and April.
Also, ReKrab is now a permanent host and will be on every episode.
