First, legendary director Ishiro Honda combines giant space jellyfish and diamond heists in Dogora from 1964. 

 

Next, we take a look at John Carpenter's very first film, the low-budget space comedy Dark Star from 1974.

 

And finally, you wanted it, you got it, it's the campy cult classic Flash Gordon from 1980!
