JFD697: Felidae, Papi Gudia, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
Your boys are back with three superheroic films this week!
First up, the boys talk about the wonders of 3-D film making and we play a game of "What was Kevin Talking About?" Where we ask the question: What was Kevin Talking about?"
The first movie is "Felidae," a 1994 animated German film about a cat that feels compels to solve a murder in his neighborhood. The gory crimes lead him into a rabbit hole (so to speak) of violence and conspiracy.
Next, is Scrambled Face Jeff's contest-winning pick of "Papi Gudia." In this extremely '80s movie (that came out in 1996), an Indian serial killer named Young Channi puts his soul into a doll to continue his violence. It's all Channi Play from there.
Finally, the side characters from Dragon Ball get their own movie in "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero" from 2022. Will Kevin understand 40 years of Akira Toriyama continuity? And will one of the hosts simply refuse to watch it? And will Krillin fuck a robot?
